While we’re not able to freely grant these wishes, we are committed to staying in touch with our patients’ needs, and adapting how we operate Hummingbird Dental to suit them. How do we do this? We offer affordable dental care with lots of options to come and see us (hopefully helping with items 2 and 3 on the wish list above). Simply stated, we want to make it reasonably priced and convenient to care for your teeth.

We Offer Morning, Afternoon and Evening Appointments Six Full Days of the Week

Yes, you read that correctly. We are open at least eight hours each day six days of the week. Our staff works a full day on Saturday (from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.) to make it possible for patients who cannot see us during the week.

According to a recent article from CTV, the average one-way commuting time in the GTA is 42 minutes. If you’re in York Region (which many of our patients are), add on another 11 minutes to bring the average commuting time to just under an hour. Multiply that by two, and that’s nearly two hours of the day just to get to and from work…that doesn’t include errands, social commitments, volunteering or taking family members to activities or appointments. Time really does fly!

We know how important that first experience, especially if you’re a new patient, is at a dentist’s office. Whether it’s your first appointment or you have seen a family dentistry many times, we understand that children, and even adults, feel somewhat anxious about having their teeth cleaned, examined and/or another dental procedure. That’s why listening to our patients is so important! Both of our dentists as well as our dental team bring a wealth of experience to help our patients feel like our office is a warm, inviting environment where they can feel comfortable and cared for at all times.

With WiFi, refreshments, televisions, massage chairs and a treasure box for our youngest patients, we have a warm, welcoming environment that makes patients want to visit us. During your appointment, we will give you tips to put dental hygiene best practices into action in between appointments, and put your best smile forward. Yet another reason our patients keep coming back to Hummingbird Dental is that we make appointments easy by being very efficient. Time is precious, so new patients can fill out our patient intake form prior to their visit. We always bill dental insurance providers directly to eliminate the need for unnecessary paperwork, and we offer a user-friendly online option to book appointments.
